Vortex Razor HD LHT 4.5-22x50 FFP XLR-2 MOA - Ultra-Lightweight, Long Range

Introduction

The Vortex Razor HD LHT 4.5-22x50 FFP XLR-2 MOA is designed for open-country hunters and long-range shooters who refuse to sacrifice portability for optical performance. Built for mountain expeditions where every gram matters, it combines a premium HD optical system with a front focal plane reticle tailored for fast field corrections.

Technical Specifications

• 4.5-22x magnification: a versatile range covering close-range shots in brush as well as long-range engagements in open country.
• 50 mm objective: gathers enough light for a bright image at dawn and dusk, key hunting moments.
• First Focal Plane (FFP) with XLR-2 MOA reticle: the reticle remains proportional to the image at all magnifications, ensuring reliable ballistic corrections and range estimations without recalculating for zoom level.
• HD optical system with XR coatings: extra-low dispersion apochromatic lenses for precise chromatic correction and consistent image clarity.
• 94 mm eye relief: comfortable use even with heavy recoil, reducing the risk of facial injury.
• 30 mm tube and 1/4 MOA per click adjustment: fine, repeatable settings for precise elevation and windage adjustment.
• Weight 510 g / length 337 mm: among the lightest in its category, a decisive advantage during long mountain approaches.

Benefits

• RevStop™ Zero system and lockable elevation turret for reliably returning to zero after a field adjustment, without wasting time or ammunition.
• ArmorTek coating protecting the lenses against scratches, oil, and dirt, a real plus for use in demanding alpine conditions.
• Argon purging ensuring waterproofing and fog resistance, essential during sudden temperature changes at altitude.
• Precision-machined aircraft-grade aluminum construction, combining ruggedness and light weight for long hunting or sport shooting outings.
• Illuminated XLR-2 reticle with 0.15 MOA center dot and "Christmas tree" sub-tensions to compensate for bullet drop and wind without re-dialing the turrets.

Use and Maintenance

To preserve optical clarity, clean the lenses with a dedicated microfiber cloth and avoid any contact with harsh solvents, though the ArmorTek coating makes removing oil or fingerprint marks easier. Store the scope in a hard case during transport in the mountains or in a vehicle, and regularly check the tightness of the mounting rings. The lockable RevStop™ Zero elevation turret allows you to dial confidently in the field, then instantly return to the original zero for follow-up shots.
