Use and Maintenance

The RAT-5 is perfectly suited for survival, bushcraft, hunting, and camping. The 1095HC carbon steel offers remarkable cutting performance but requires regular maintenance: wipe the blade after use and apply a thin layer of protective oil, especially in humid environments. The powder coating protects the flat surfaces, while the edge needs periodic sharpening.
