Vortex Diamondback 3.5-10x50 SFP BDC MOA - Precision Hunting Riflescope

Overview

The Vortex Optics Diamondback® 3.5-10x50 SFP BDC MOA is a versatile riflescope designed for demanding Swiss hunters, from shots in dense forest to long-range shooting in open terrain. Its 50mm objective lens combined with multi-coated optics delivers a bright and contrasted image, even during the critical dawn and dusk hours. The Dead-Hold BDC MOA reticle, positioned in the second focal plane (SFP), allows for quick and intuitive trajectory correction, without constant recalculation of magnification.

Technical Specifications

• 3.5-10x magnification: covers both close-range and long-distance shots, a single optic for all hunting situations
• 50 mm objective lens: maximizes light transmission for extended visibility in low-light conditions
• Second focal plane (SFP) with BDC MOA reticle: dedicated aiming points to compensate for bullet drop, without complex adjustment
• 1-inch (25.4 mm) tube, 1/4 MOA adjustment per click: fine precision, up to 65 MOA of elevation and windage adjustment
• Protected capped turrets: prevent accidental adjustments during transport in the mountains or vehicle
• One-piece aircraft-grade aluminum construction, argon-purged: guaranteed sealing and fog resistance in all weather
• 97 mm eye relief: comfortable use even with heavy-recoil firearms
• Weight 425 g, length 330 mm: optimal balance without weighing down the firearm

Advantages

• Reliable tracking: adjustments hold zero even after impacts and transport, a point appreciated by sport shooters
• Versatility for big game, predator hunting, slug shotguns, or black powder shooting
• Fast-focus eyepiece for instant adaptation to the shooter's vision

Use and Maintenance

Clean the lenses with a microfiber cloth and a specific optics cleaning solution to preserve the multi-coating. Store the scope away from moisture and impacts when the firearm is not in use. Thanks to its argon purging and sealing, the Diamondback 3.5-10x50 withstands the typical climatic variations of Swiss mountain ranges, from the Jura to the Alps.
