Overview

The Eberlestock GUNMETAL convertible mitten was designed for long hunting days in the snow and cold evenings at camp, conditions that Swiss hunters and hikers know well at altitude. Made from waterproof goatskin leather, it combines thermal insulation and freedom of movement thanks to a fold-back hood that frees the fingers in one motion, as soon as maximum dexterity is required.

Technical Features

• 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation: retains hand warmth without excess bulk, even in extreme cold.
• Hellbender™ three-layer fabric: 30,000 mm waterproofing and 30,000 g/m²/24h breathability, to stay dry without a greenhouse effect inside the glove.
• Fingerless Nomex® liner gloves: integrated into the mitten, they protect the hands even with the hood open, allowing precise handling of a firearm or bow.
• Fold-back mitten hood with magnetic closures: quick access to the bow, rifle or any equipment requiring finesse, without removing the glove.
• Storm cuff with Velcro: effectively blocks wind and cold at the wrist.
• Palm reinforcement: resists wear and abrasion caused by ski or hiking poles.

Use and Care

These mittens are suitable for intensive outdoor use: mountain hunting, winter hiking, camping in cold conditions. To preserve the waterproofing and suppleness of the leather, it is recommended to let the mittens air dry after prolonged exposure to moisture, away from any direct heat source.
