Overview
The Venom® 5-25x56 FFP EBR-7C MOA from Vortex Optics is designed for long-range shooters who use the imperial measurement system. Thanks to its front focal plane (FFP) reticle, MOA subtensions remain accurate at every magnification, a decisive advantage for precision shooting, big game hunting, or long-range predator hunting. Its large 56 mm objective lens and XD (extra-low dispersion) glass lenses deliver a clear, bright image even in low-light conditions.
Technical Specifications
- 5-25x magnification: versatility from close range to very long distance
- 56 mm objective lens: maximum brightness for clear vision at dusk
- EBR-7C front focal plane reticle, MOA graduation: accurate range estimation at any magnification
- 34 mm monoblock tube in aircraft-grade aluminum: provides 85 MOA of elevation and windage travel for very long-range shots
- Tactical turrets with RevStop system: fast, reliable, tool-free return to zero after a long-range shot
- 1/4 MOA click adjustment: fine, repeatable adjustments
- 89 mm eye relief: increased visual comfort and safety in case of heavy recoil
- Argon purging: guaranteed waterproofing and fog-proofing in all weather conditions
- ArmorTek coating: protects lenses from scratches, oil, and dirt in the field
Advantages
- Etched glass reticle: crosshairs never shift over time, unlike printed reticles
- Throw lever included for quick magnification changes, even with gloves on
- Rugged, weatherproof construction suited to alpine conditions and long outdoor shooting sessions
- Ideal for precision shooting up to 1000 meters and beyond, with reliable mirage reading thanks to optical clarity
- Compatible with intensive use at sport shooting clubs or during driven hunts, without compromising durability
Use and Maintenance
The scope comes with a sunshade, turret adjustment tool, throw lever, protective caps, and a cleaning cloth, ready for immediate field use. To preserve optical quality, clean the lenses only with the supplied cloth or a microfiber cloth, without abrasive products. The 907 g weight should be taken into account during long mountain approach hikes. Thanks to the argon-purged, sealed tube, no special maintenance is required against humidity or temperature changes, common in the Swiss climate.
