The Vortex Optics Defender-CCW™ is a micro red dot sight designed specifically for everyday concealed carry (EDC). Its slim profile and compact monoblock housing fit handguns of all sizes, from standard models to micro-compacts, without compromising draw speed. Built for personal protection, it combines a wide viewing window with a crisp dot for fast target acquisition on the first shot, regardless of ambient lighting.

Use and Maintenance
The Defender-CCW should be fitted onto compatible Shield RMSc footprint plates by a qualified gunsmith. Once mounted, no parallax adjustment is needed thanks to its parallax-free design. For maintenance, clean the aspherical lens with a microfiber cloth and avoid harsh solvents on the anodized finish. The CR1632 battery is replaced from the top, without removing the optic or losing zero.
