Use and Maintenance
For precise close-range shooting, set the magnification to 1x and take advantage of the illuminated dot for instant target acquisition. For medium or long-range shots, increase the magnification up to 8x and use the compensation marks on the AR-BDC3 reticle up to 650 yards. Note that the eyebox narrows beyond 6x - a precise cheek position is then recommended to maintain a full sight picture. Thanks to the argon purging, the scope remains protected against fog and moisture; sheltered storage and regular cleaning of the lenses with a microfiber cloth help preserve optical quality over time.
