Use and Maintenance

Deploy the legs by adjusting each angle individually according to the terrain, then use the rubberized handle of the head to level your optic. In strong wind, hang a weight on the counterweight hook to lower the center of gravity. After use in humid or salty environments, wipe the legs and twist locks with a clean cloth, and store the tripod dry in its carrying case. Periodically check the tightness of the locks before each outing.
