Overview

The Vortex Radian™ ball head was designed to offer independent control of pan and tension, in order to support heavy optics such as spotting scopes, large-format binoculars and rifles. Designed to integrate with the Vortex Radian™ Carbon tripod, it provides the stability and precision needed for optical observation as well as precision shooting, in the field as well as at the bench.

Use and Maintenance

Mount the Vortex Radian™ ball head on an Arca-Swiss compatible tripod, adjust the tension according to the weight of your optic or rifle, then lock firmly before use. The integrated level allows you to check horizontality before each observation or shooting session. Store the head away from prolonged moisture after use and regularly clean the Arca-Swiss plate to preserve clamping precision over the long term.
