Use and Maintenance

Spread the legs to the desired angle using the independent pivot locks, then adjust the height using the lever locks. In strong wind, hang a weight on the counterweight hook to lower the center of gravity. The included 2.5 mm and 1.3 mm hex keys allow you to adjust the head's tension according to your optic. After an outing in wet weather, wipe down the tripod before storing it in its case to preserve the mechanisms. User feedback highlights its smooth adjustment, its stability with 12x56 binoculars and its remarkable wind resistance with a spotting scope.
