Vortex Viper Red Dot 6 MOA - Ultra-Low Red Dot Sight for Handguns

Overview

The Vortex Viper Red Dot 6 MOA (ref. VRD-6) is a compact red dot sight designed primarily for handguns. Its extra-low mounting height allows it to integrate perfectly with milled slides and offers co-witness with raised suppressor-height iron sights. Thanks to its bright 6 MOA red dot, target acquisition is instant: you aim faster, with both eyes open, without losing track of your surroundings.

• 10 brightness settings: intensity suited to all conditions, from dim light to full alpine sun.

• Remarkable battery life: CR2032 battery offering up to 150 hours at full intensity and up to 30,000 hours on low settings.
• Picatinny/Weaver mount included: ready to use right out of the box.

Advantages

• Decisive aiming speed: the 6 MOA dot is found instantly, a major asset in dynamic sport shooting as well as in stressful situations.
• Proven ruggedness: waterproof, shockproof construction, built to withstand the repeated recoil of handguns.
• Premium optics: fully multi-coated anti-reflective lenses and an ultra-hard ArmorTek exterior coating against scratches, for a sharp and long-lasting image.
• Dual sighting system: mounted very low, it lets you keep the use of your raised iron sights as a backup.
• Total peace of mind: Vortex's VIP warranty, lifetime, unlimited and unconditional, covers your sight no matter what.

Use and Maintenance

Attach the Viper to its Picatinny/Weaver base or directly onto a compatible milled slide using the included T-10 Torx wrench. The CR2032 battery compartment is located under the sight: the optic must be removed to replace it, so we recommend re-checking your zero after every battery change. Clean the lenses only with the included optical cloth and store the sight with its protective cover. Delivered complete with Weaver/Picatinny mount, T-10 Torx wrench, flat wrench, CR2032 battery, cloth and protective cover.
