Vortex Diamondback® Tactical 4-16x44 FFP EBR-2C MRAD - Long Range Precision

Overview

The Vortex Optics Diamondback® Tactical 4-16x44 FFP is a compact tactical riflescope designed for shooters seeking versatility and precision at medium to long range. Its 44 mm objective lens with multicoated XD (extra-low dispersion) glass delivers a bright, high-contrast image without the bulk of dedicated 50 mm very-long-range models. Featuring the glass-etched EBR-2C reticle positioned in the first focal plane (FFP), it allows MRAD subtensions to be used at any magnification, from 4x to 16x, without recalculation.

Technical Specifications

• Magnification: 4-16x - versatility from close range to shots beyond 1000 meters
• Objective lens: 44 mm multicoated XD glass - optimized brightness and contrast without added weight
• Reticle: EBR-2C, first focal plane (FFP), MRAD graduation - constant subtensions usable at any magnification
• Tactical turrets: 1/10 MRAD per click, 6 MRAD per revolution, up to 25 MRAD of travel - fine, repeatable adjustments for long-range dialing
• Side parallax: adjustable from 20 yards to infinity - controlled sharpness regardless of shooting distance
• Tube: 30 mm single-piece aircraft-grade aluminum - compatible with most 30 mm mounting rings on the market
• Eye relief: 89 mm - enhanced comfort and eye safety
• Waterproofing: argon gas purging and O-ring seals - protection against fogging and moisture in all weather
• Dimensions: 318 mm / 737 g - superior handling compared to bulkier long-range scopes

Benefits

• FFP EBR-2C reticle: no need to lock in a specific magnification to estimate distance or correct a shot, MRAD graduations remain accurate from 4x to 16x
• ArmorTek coating: lenses resist scratches, dirt, and moisture, an asset for mountain or all-weather use in Switzerland
• Aircraft-grade aluminum construction and 30 mm single-piece tube: proven ruggedness for intensive tactical use
• Compact 4-16x format: a single instrument covering precision shooting from medium to long range, without needing multiple optics
• Turrets precise to 1/10 MRAD: fine, repeatable adjustments, valued in precision shooting as well as competition

Use and Maintenance

To preserve optical quality, clean the lenses only with a microfiber cloth or a suitable lens pen, never with an abrasive cloth. Have the zero of your turrets checked or adjusted by a professional after mounting on your rifle, and store the scope in a dry place between uses. The 30 mm tube is compatible with most standard mounting rings available on the market.
