The Flat Emergency Trauma Dressing (ETD) 4" from North American Rescue is a compression bandage designed for the immediate treatment of hemorrhagic wounds, both in outdoor settings and in tactical or first aid contexts. Developed from the analysis of over 63 After Action Reviews (AARs) documenting real-world applications of combat dressings, this device combines ease of use with proven effectiveness. Its flat-folded packaging significantly reduces the volume it takes up in your first aid kit, bivouac bag, or IFAK.

Use and Care

The Flat ETD 4" is used by applying the sterile pad directly to the wound, then wrapping the elastic bandage evenly to maintain constant pressure thanks to the Quick-Grip™ tabs. This device is for single use only and must be kept in its sealed packaging until use to preserve sterility. Regularly check the integrity of the vacuum packaging in your outdoor or bivouac first aid kit, and replace the product after each use.
