The HyFin® Vent Compact twin pack from North American Rescue (NAR) provides two vented chest seals designed for the prevention, management, and treatment of an open and/or tension pneumothorax caused by penetrating chest trauma. Designed for rescue professionals, IFAK kits, and demanding outdoor enthusiasts, this reference medical device fits perfectly into a first aid kit for bivouac or tactical environments.

Use and Care

Store the pack in its original packaging, protected from moisture and excessive heat, until use. Thanks to the perforation, open only one seal at a time to preserve the integrity of the second. Before application, wipe the wound with the included gauze pad, then remove the protective film and firmly apply the seal using the red tab.
