The Vendetta Douk (SKU SC3433) is a folding pocket knife with a strong character, inspired by the traditional Corsican knife «La Vendetta». Born in 2011 from the collaboration between renowned knife maker Fred Perrin and Pierre Cognet, it is manufactured by Établissements MC Cognet in France, using a manufacturing technique identical to that of the famous Douk-Douk®. An authentic model, designed for traditional cutlery enthusiasts as well as for demanding everyday use.

Use and Care

As the XC75 carbon steel blade is not stainless, it requires simple but regular care: wipe the blade after each use, never leave it soaking in water, and do not put the knife in the dishwasher. A light film of oil on the blade will extend its protection against oxidation. The forced notch holds the blade in the open position without a locking system: close the knife carefully, keeping your fingers away from the blade's path.
