Use and Maintenance

To maintain the performance of your Fenix HL16, replace the AAA batteries as soon as brightness noticeably decreases, and avoid leaving used batteries in the compartment for too long. Locking the dual switch electronically is recommended during transport to prevent accidental discharge. Although rated IP66, the lamp should be rinsed with clean water and then dried after prolonged exposure to mud or sand to preserve the seals' watertightness over the long term.
