Eberlestock Brute 6500 Backpack - 108L for Backcountry Hunting

Overview

The Eberlestock Brute 6500 is a complete hunting pack, designed for demanding hunters heading out on extended expeditions in high mountain terrain. With its 108-liter capacity, it carries all the equipment needed for 4 to 5 self-sufficient days, while remaining compressible to serve as a day pack for hunting once camp is set up.

Technical Specifications

• Capacity: 108 liters - sufficient for a full multi-day expedition in the wilderness
• Weight: 3.04 kg - a controlled weight despite the volume and robustness of the frame
• Dimensions: 89 cm (H) x 30 cm (W) x 25 cm (D) - profile suited for carrying over long distances
• Internal frame: adaptive aluminum frame, inspired by the Modframe platform, which distributes weight and stabilizes heavy loads on rugged terrain
• Contour Shoulder Harness suspension: unlimited height adjustment for a perfect fit to the torso and weight transfer to the hips
• Cradle waist belt: silicone coating on the lumbar pad, retention buckle and rear stabilization straps to limit swaying
• Dual access: extendable roll-top flap or large front zippered panel for quick access to the main compartment

Benefits

• A more natural posture thanks to raised lift straps that bring the pack closer to the center of gravity
• Less fatigue on long climbs to observation points, thanks to weight distribution on the hips rather than the shoulders
• Quick access to essential equipment via the extendable front, side, and flap pockets, without having to unpack everything
• Modular storage capacity: compress the pack once camp is established for more compact day use
• A rifle scabbard pre-fit and a dedicated pocket for a spotting scope, specifically designed for mountain hunting

Use and Care

Adjust the Contour Shoulder Harness suspension and the Cradle belt before each outing to ensure comfortable carrying throughout the expedition. The removable flap attaches and detaches easily using the fixing clips, allowing you to adapt the pack's volume depending on the length of the outing. To preserve the longevity of the frame and straps, store the pack flat or hung between uses and avoid excessive, unbalanced loads.
