Overview
The Eberlestock Brute 4500 is a hunting pack designed for demanding mountain hunters who want a complete, ready-to-use system capable of immediately handling a substantial load. Built for 2- to 3-day outings, it offers the space needed for a full kit, including rain gear, insulating layers, and camping equipment, without compromising mobility on rough terrain.
Technical Specifications
- Capacity: 73.5 L (4500 cubic inches) to carry the essentials for several days of self-sufficient travel
- Weight: 3.04 kg, a balance between durability and lightness on long climbs
- Dimensions: 66 cm (H) x 29 cm (W) x 25 cm (D), a format suited to extended carrying
- Frame: adaptive aluminum structure with adjustable load shelf to distribute weight close to the back and limit load transfer
- Contour Shoulder Harness: unlimited height adjustment and breathable mesh padding for precise torso fit and improved airflow
- Cradle Hip Belt: silicone coating on the lumbar pad, integrated stabilizers, and forward-adjustable straps for a firm hold without swaying
- Dual access: zippered top flap or zippered front panel for quick access to the main compartment
- Rifle scabbard-ready and dedicated pocket for a spotting scope or observation optic
Benefits
- A more natural posture thanks to raised lift straps that bring the pack closer to the center of gravity
- Less fatigue over long distances thanks to optimized weight distribution on the hips rather than the shoulders
- A removable lid and expandable front pocket to quickly organize bulky items like water bottles or survival kits
- Easy compression to turn the pack into a more compact day format once camp is broken down
- Enhanced stability on rough terrain thanks to the lightweight internal MODFRAME framework
Use and Care
Adjust the Contour harness and Cradle belt before each outing for a personalized fit at the torso and hips. Use the side compression straps to adjust the volume to the length of your hunt, from a 2-3 day format to a day format. Store the pack in a dry place between uses to preserve the aluminum frame and seams.
