Cold Steel's Tiger Claw™ was born from the field experience of Andrew Demko, a qualified electrician and engineer, who developed a hybrid Karambit/Hawkbill blade capable of cutting rope, cable and wire during his work. Asked by Cold Steel to create his own version of a folding Karambit, Demko naturally drew on this proven blade shape, now forged in American S35VN steel. The result: a knife that combines the tactical aggressiveness of Filipino and Indonesian Karambits with the utility versatility of a working Hawkbill.
