Use and Maintenance

Birchwood Casey recommends a three-step maintenance method: dissolve barrel residues with a Bore Scrubber-type solvent, clean the mechanisms with a Gun Scrubber-type degreaser, then protect metal surfaces against corrosion with a Barricade-type product. After each shooting session, run the solvent-soaked brush through the barrel, then patches on the jag until they come out clean, and finish with a light protective coating. Store the accessories in the case after use to keep the kit complete.
